Annual Certification Requirements
OSAA/MISOA requires all high school officials to meet the following requirements each year:

Register with OSAA (required before each season, typically opens in July)
Take and Pass the 50 question OSAA Soccer Test
Complete OSAA Concussion Training
NEW: Complete the new OSAA Interrupting & Preventing Discriminatory Acts Training (click this link to view short video on how to find this training)
Attend ONE MISOA Field Training Session, the last one is Wednesday, August 10, 2022
IF YOU DID NOT ATTEND one of the Field Training Sessions and would still like to do MISOA games this fall, you must complete the OSAA PreSeason Soccer Presentation before your first assignment. There is a short quiz at the end and the commissioner will be notified when you have completed the training.
Upload your Proof of Vaccination (or exception form) to the OSAA portal (you do not need to do this again if you did it last year)
Complete ONE additional hour of approved soccer specific training
For Refs NEW to MISOA this should be the MISOA 101 Online Training

Officials joining after 2005 are required to take a NFHS Interscholastic Officiating course within the first three years of OSAA membership.
This FREE course is offered online or in a classroom.

OSAA requires anyone working playoff games to complete this course in advance of a playoff assignment.
